Doing is all about putting ideas into action. First, don't panic! It's easy to feel overwhelmed. In this phase, focus on testing the simplest version of your idea.
Uber: A case study in doing
Many ideas include creating a mobile app. When Uber, the popular ride sharing service, got started, they didn't begin with a mobile app. Instead, they let people get out of a cars without paying to see how 'frictionless transactions' felt. It turns out people really like that part.
Focus on concepts. Not delivery.
In this phase it can be tempting to want to 'boil the ocean'. in the Sibley Hub, we recommend doing the simplest version of an idea first. If you idea is for an app, what does the app do for people? Can you 'just do' that part without an app and see how people react?
