LISTEN. IMAGINE. DO.

At the innovation Hub at Johns Hopkins Sibley Hospital, we practice Human Centered Design.
The methodology has three basic phases: Listen, Imagine, and Do.
Below you will find some helpful explainer videos, along with guides and worksheets.

Listen

Listen and empathize with your end-users by conducting interviews, field trips, and observations. The information you gather in this phase will help you understand the problem from every angle.

We have created a set of guides & worksheets to help you through your project.
You can download the PDFs below.

IMAGINE

Imagining can take many forms. Two of the easiest approaches are
a brainstorm or focus session.

We have created a set of guides & worksheets to help you through your project.

DO

It's time for prototyping!
Start by making simple, rough, sketchy versions of the solution you have selected. Test it out with real users, listen to their feedback and refine your project.

We have created a set of guides & worksheets to help you through your project.

TELL

At the hub, we want to make sure we always continue learning. In "TELL," take the time to understand your own story by documenting successes and failures so you can share with others.

We have created a set of guides & worksheets to help you through your project.
